Merch Wizard Application

Where is my information stored

Merch Wizard utilise two types of storage, application storage and Airtable storage.

Application Storage

Local application storage provided by Google Chrome’s isolated storage APIs.

Airtable

Your own private and secure Airtable base, only accessible by yourself and connected to Merch Wizard via an API key.

What Information Is Stored

We will never request your Merch login details and therefore they are not stored anywhere.

Application Storage

  • Airtable API details
  • Licence key
  • Settings
  • Sales data
  • Auto-synced listings

Airtable Storage

  • Listings
  • Designs
  • PNGs
  • New Listings
  • Scaler

What happens if I remove the Merch Wizard extension

Any information stored in your application storage will be removed as soon as you remove the extension.

The information in your Airtable base will remain untouched and is still entirely under your control. You can keep the Airtable base data after you’ve removed Merch Wizard or you can delete your base if you no longer want the data to be stored in your Airtable account.

API Endpoints

Merch Wizard connects to your Airtable base via Airtable’s API. Once Merch Wizard is connected to your base it will create, read, update and delete records in your base depending on what actions you’re taking on the application.

Merch Wizard makes periodic calls to the Gumroad licencing API to check if the licence key is still valid. No additional information is transmitted during these calls, they’re simply a check to see if the licence key is valid.

All API calls are made over a secure HTTPS connection to ensure your data is safe and secure in transit.
